fitfo
I purchased parts to assemble a PAM026 and am having a little trouble. The package was listed as a complete set from a broken down 2013 V2 H Factory PAM 026K. 1. There seems to be no post on this movement for a second hand. Am I missing a part, is this the incorrect movement or is it broken? 2. The faceplace only fits in reverse (ie the 9 over where the crown will be. Is this a left handed plate? If so the second hand still has no post. How could I tell? 3. Lastly what movement is this so I can order hands or possibly a replacement. Here are some pictures. Thanks in advance for any help and guidance you guys can give me as this is my first build. I figured by ordering a complete set it might be easier. cjjoyce1
Ummm. A PAM026 is a lefty wind watch. Your first and third pics clearly show the seconds pinion protruding from the plate. And finally, your dial fits exactly as it's intended. Perhaps you should research your watch a bit more http://watchworx.blogspot.com/2011/04/latest-panerai-pam-026-luminor-marina.html
devilseam
Firstly, sorry about the crude drawing. Art is not my strong point! Here is a pics highlighting the seconds pinion, the watch needs rotating so that the crown is on the left (its designed to be that way) the second pinion will then automatically be in the correct position for your dial. Its a 6497.
