I really enojed this watch during this trip -- its a great watch for a beach vacation ..

during the day i wore the yellow seawolf .. and at night for dinner / walking on the beach i switched to my PAM 111 ... the other watches i brought with me got no wrist time .. -- guess i only need 2 watches on vacation .. day time and night time.

Love the pictures, they really do the watch justice. That dial just pops out at you. Hawaii was the best place to try it out! :-)

How have you found the comfort of the rubber strap to be in comparison with the SS bracelet that it came with?

ben ..

the difference in weight is significant between the SS bracelet and the rubber strap .. so i prefer the rubber strap ... for me its more comfortable without the extra weight.

Thanks Ricardo, that makes sense. I don't tend to find the weight uncomfortable per-se, however I was wondering if the rubber strap gets sticky/itchy/sweaty at all.

ben ..

been spending the last few days in NYC .. the strap has been comfortable even in the humid heat that is NYC in the summer (i much prefer SF weather)

Lol, we don't get much in the way of nice hot weather over here in Scotland so now that I'm sitting here drenched in my own sweat I have to resist the urge to complain as I know it'll be back to the usual rain and overcast summer in no-time. You folks are lucky (ish) over the other side of the pond. Your summers tend to be glorious however you also have to put up with the forest fires/tornadoes/crazy insects.

It's good to hear that the strap has remained comfortable despite the oppressive heat and the high humidity and is testament to the material/design of the strap.

Thanks again for sharing this info my friend  :1a:
