billsanity
Was thinking about picking up the newer versions of the richard mille on trusty's site. such as the rm033 or maybe the rm016. Has anyone got any wrist shots or opinion on how good of a looking watch it is after they received it?
clarencek
I'd like to know this as well. I was thinking of picking one up but curious if they even closely resemble the gen version.
billsanity
Also, I think i saw it had a modified 7750? Any info on the reliability factor would be great as well
maevit4996
Dial construction is not very gen like, I have no idea about the reliability of the movement. Richard Mille do not make their own movements, but they have them ordered with custom specifications and given that most of their models have skeleton dials that expose the movement, that is the biggest tell on the Rep Milles. Gen RM Le Mans Rep RM Le Mans http://vimeo.com/70542613 Just my 2 cents, if a factory can produce a gen like Bubba Watson RM I would be on it in a second but custom movements and skeleton dials make it hard to replicate I reckon. robertk
Well, unless you're walking into a store that sells them, who's gonna see the "tell".

I think its pretty obvious on RM reps, you cant even see the gears its just a flat plate if you watch the Trusty Time video. I think some other models show the movement which make it a better rep but personally its a no go for me.
billsanity
I'm in the boat with robertk, nobody is really going to know or care. I was aware of the dial problem and was just wondering if anyone had picked it up and the problem with the dial just looked to hokey. Has anyone picked this watch up?
