Deckard1979
I am not from Sopot but i have spent many family holidays there. June and July would be the best. Temperature on average 30 - 36 degrees Celsius. In August starts to get wee bit colder and it might rain. But it can be hit and miss, because i do remember nice August and even September on the seaside Gdansk is beautiful, nice Old Town and close to the sea, Sopot is small and popular among tourists, Gdynia is more just a city. They all close to each other (we call it Tri City). If it comes to particular places where to stay i don't really know because everything changes very fast over there. I used to rent small house on the outskirts of Sopot with garage, garden,etc.. It is still quite cheap compare to Western Europe!
