F-series Pam Replicas - Who's Got One And Which Parts Will Fit?

I have a very old F-Serial Panerai 111 Replica. It was one of the first ones, with the standart ETA bridges and the PANERAI wirting upside down.

But I like the watch very very much, because it has a very nice AR coating and feels better than the newer replicas. The Crown Guard was not too acurate, but it will be replaced with a Jimmy Fu CG!

But I also want to replace the caseback, I currently have an exhibiton back, but I want a solid caseback (turn it into a 001), just because I think the watch will be a little more accurate with the solid caseback. But since the case is probably different from the 111G's and the 001G's which are being sold now, I dont know if the new caseback will even fit.

Does anyone here have a F-Serial replica? Do you have any experience with changing parts on those? Or a source where I can obtain a proper caseback?

davidsen has the solid casebacks. your "f" series pam feels better because it is a true base ETA movement. the newer swannecks have chinese modified bridges and everything does not allign as well. that's why the winding is so smooth and time setting smooth as butter and easier to move the crown positions. just built better! all my solid back pams i toss in a fresh base swiss ETA 6497. doesn't look the part but feels the part!

Just purchased my solid 001 case back from River last week.

Awaiting this new arrival anxiously. Supose to be an exact fit to 111 case.

I also have the original first generation 111, also from River.

Making the 111 to 001 conversion, couldn't handle the bogus looking movement anymore.
