Question about the Grand Carrera Cal 17 RS2 Quartz

Hello guys,

 

Im pretty new to the rep game and it seems like quite an interesting hobby, does anyone know if the seconds disk on the quartz model of the grand carrera is actually functional, or is there nothing to show seconds?

Non functional mate i'm afraid. If you get the 21j model it has a sweep second hand which is also incorrect

I had the quartz and then got the gen, I posted comparison pics on repgeek, side by side you would notice the datewindow well before you notice the rotating seconds and this of course is the same for quartz and 21j.from a step away you would be hard pushed to see the seconds wheel and I thoroughly recommend it
