After reading The Zigmeister's review of this movement, I was concerned but thought I would give it time. Well, after a few weeks it was loosing about 4 mins a day, bad enough that it needed some work. I admit, the necessary work with the hairspring was too much for me, so I replaced the movement with one from Davidsen, which I think looks pretty good, it looks way better in person. Also, I changed the hands. I like the blue hands but they are impossible to work with, any light touch looks like a scratch I ended up tossing both of them. I gave the dial a light touch of matte varnish and replaced the screw down crown with one from davidsen. When I got it, the plastic crystal was totally loose, I could remove it just by pulling on it. I glued it down with some crystal glue, nice and tight now. I may get other blue hands or keep the gold. It came out pretty well IMO.
