another 1655 thread for questions i cant find the answers to

hey all.

 

so i picked up a 1655 with the 21j from trustytime,  great watch out of the box. however i feel it has so much potential.

 

so i think ive read most posts about this as i can find. and already ordered a T116 from clark,

 

though a few questions,

 

trying to source out a better bracelet and from my search i cant find any info of what works best.

 

i would like to get 1.25-1.3mm drilled holes to accept 2mm pins. but i have no idea, let alone dont want to try drilling myself. so if i can find someone or a watchmaker to do it i will.

but for now i was thinking of getting more solid pins like

Swiss Made 1.8 mm Thick 20 mm Spring Bar Replaces Rolex 23-9290 Spring Bar from ofrei just to add a little bit more stability than the flanged ones that came with it,

 

so i want a bracelet with SEL, and not the riveted ones so i have only found 3

1. yuki Rolex 20mm Solid replacement Bracelet but it says 93153 , from my understanding this was an option in the last mk4 model from dealers, but im not quite sure . does anyone know if this fits ok,

 

2. raffles 20mm Oyster SS Quality Watch Bracelet all Matt but im not sure if this has Solid end links and if it fits, nor does it state what bracelet model it is based on. if anyone has this or knows anything about it please chime in.

 

3 is OYSTER WATCH BAND FOR 78360 ROLEX MATTE 20MM FAT SPRING BAR from wholesaleoutlet990 on ebay though it doesnt come with a branded clasp, so i would have to find one to fit that, however this is the 78360 model that from my understanding is the model that came with the late mk4 1655.

 

anyone's thoughts on these or any other options, besides buying a gen 78360, as that's way out of my budget

 

 

next question is which orange 24hr hand should i be going with, as the one that came with it, looks too red for my liking? ive seen raffles but are there other options ?

Which bracelet did it come with? Is it the 7836 folded link bracelet?

 

If so, that's about as good as it gets for this watch, so please save your money. All of the others listed are incorrect for this piece any how.

Yes it's the 7836. the 78360 is the one that was on the last mk4s with the solid end links. So I was hoping to change it to that

Does anyone know what end links work on the 1655.?
