Ya. I'm replacing that seconds hand. It's way off from where it's supposed to be. The lollipop is not in the right place. So I'm trying to source a more correct one. Finding white seems to be hard. Silver or good there's a million.

Thanks JoeyB Ok so about the raffles gmt hand. Which one do you order for the 1655 21j that's from trusty time and josh. Is it the 2813 or the 3804 ? Like what's the difference between the 2804 and 2813 gmt hand. Wouldn't they technically be the same size ?

Yes it's the 7836. the 78360 is the one that was on the last mk4s with the solid end links. So I was hoping to change it to that Does anyone know what end links work on the 1655.?

hey all. so i picked up a 1655 with the 21j from trustytime, great watch out of the box. however i feel it has so much potential. so i think ive read most posts about this as i can find. and already ordered a T116 from clark, though a few questions, trying to source out a better bracelet and from my search i cant find any info of what works best. i would like to get 1.25-1.3mm drilled holes to accept 2mm pins. but i have no idea, let alone dont want to try drilling myself. so if i can find someone or a watchmaker to do it i will. but for now i was thinking of getting more solid pins like Swiss Made 1.8 mm Thick 20 mm Spring Bar Replaces Rolex 23-9290 Spring Bar from ofrei just to add a little bit more stability than the flanged ones that came with it, so i want a bracelet with SEL, and not the riveted ones so i have only found 3 1. yuki Rolex 20mm Solid replacement Bracelet but it says 93153 , from my understanding this was an option in the last mk4 model from dealers, but im not quite sure . does anyone know if this fits ok, 2. raffles 20mm Oyster SS Quality Watch Bracelet all Matt but im not sure if this has Solid end links and if it fits, nor does it state what bracelet model it is based on. if anyone has this or knows anything about it please chime in. 3 is OYSTER WATCH BAND FOR 78360 ROLEX MATTE 20MM FAT SPRING BAR from wholesaleoutlet990 on ebay though it doesnt come with a branded clasp, so i would have to find one to fit that, however this is the 78360 model that from my understanding is the model that came with the late mk4 1655. anyone's thoughts on these or any other options, besides buying a gen 78360, as that's way out of my budget next question is which orange 24hr hand should i be going with, as the one that came with it, looks too red for my liking? ive seen raffles but are there other options ? if there are threads already with these answers,sorry i have tried the search,

i just got one of these from andrew at TT, i asked him before i got it , if it was the DG 2813 version or the DG-3804B movement. he told me "it was the GMT version. but we call it the 2813", so maybe they just refer to it as the 2813. though it is the 3804b... also i cant see them converting a 2813 to gmt, when for pretty much the same cost they can just put in the 3804. i think its just a marketing/advertising error. mine keeps really good time too, just a few seconds off a day. my question is, does your gmt hand look red to you? i thought it would be more orange, kinda closer to the new 216570. does the raffles one look more orange than red ? did you ever get the raffles one and put it in? which one did you end up ordering ?

awesome list woof ! that should be a sticky somewhere. nanuq - awesome about the bracelet, seems pretty good . just gotta figure out where to get the nice crowned clasp. still waiting to hear from trustytime. leaning more towards the raffles, next on the list is dial and movement. 2 new questions for you gurus first what "affordable" notice the quotations! dial. gilt branded of course, helenarou or raffles or any other suggestions. the other question i know i might annoy a few people. and i did do some search, but nothing definitive. i could go with an eta 2836. i was hoping to keep it swiss as im not a fan of inaccurate time. and fiddling with the seagulls or dg's but i started thinking more today about maybe a slow beat like 2846 or 2782 anyone have any good links on this to what could fit a raffles case if i wanted to go this route? can it be done, has it been done before etc etc. just thinking a slow beat swiss would kinda tie into my vintage fix.

Hahahaha !!!! That's so true. I thought that if I got a helenarou it would satisfy my urge for a vintage no crown gaurd sub. It's a fantastic watxh. Don't get me wrong. Awesome in its own right. Semi domed sapphire. Polished bezel. Gilt dial with awesome lume. Big crown. But it's like not as close as say I think it should be. So this project is my first lets say sourced parts watch. I'm gonna have someone make it once I finish getting all the parts. I like yukis stuff but priced out with what I want for it. I'm pretty close to 1300-1400 at least. I can't justify that for a clone with an eta. I'd rather source as many gen rolex parts as possible but like you said above. Then we're at pretty much 5k. Which is still good. But I'm far away from that, and like you said. You'll be too scared to wear it. So I think I'm gonna stick to my original plan here and I'm just waiting to get a email confirming the size of the trusty time dial. I read both its a 29-30mm like the raffles and that it is close to a gen and that 27mm max like the tiger. Once I know that then ill pull the trigger and stsrt to get all the other bits as well Pretty much look like yours above. Was that a yuki bracelet on yours ? I was thinking of getting one when he gets more in stock.

Nanuq - wow. That is awesome. That is pretty much what I was wanting. What movement you use ? You mind listing the specs? I have tried to do as much homework as I can. I hate asking dumb questions. Emm- for the insert you have to contact mk@helenarou he doesnt have it up on ebay or his website yet.. but he responds fast. plus the red one has a big pearl in it. i already have a helenarou branded version.. awesome watch. however the crown sorta bugs me, its too far out from the case and i cant find a superdome that will fit it, i already have a clark t19, so thats why im going to do a totally new watch. with different specs red triangle, gold dial, white seconds, superdome. and if i can get a slimmer case so it sits lower on my wrist then great. also i really like the athaya crown. i also think helenarou makes awesome dials, so maybe if i can get a case that holds a 29mm that would be great too. (so maybe tiger case is out as i hear they are 27mm) also raffles has some nice gilt dials. if i could afford it, id get a yuki, with one of his dials. but i was quoted something like 780 just for the case. which is way too crazy for me. are ingods cases closer to yuki or raffles ? i just started to read about his stuff. but mixed reviews. not sure on the movement holder for it either. are there any other white seconds hands besides onlinestorehk ?
