I've always worked with my hands so I guess what drew me to the site was the modding. I have ordered basic tools and books on repairing and making watchs and can't wait to dive in. I use to repair and restore espresso machines for fun. I plan on getting a rep speedmaster or sub next ( doesn't every new member?) so if anyone is looking to resell. I currently have the watchs below. I look forward to learning and maybe one day paying it foward. Klink Posted October 21, 2013 Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 btw, gmg, I have a 1964 Poljot "Ultrathin", the watch won a prize in Geneva for the movement, being amazingly thin, it seems as if it is almost a part of the wrist when worn. The dial is a bit faded, and I have thought to have it re-done, but am wary of not getting a good job.. the watch WIS on watchyouseek do not seem to recommend this.
