fitch
Hi guys, So I wanted to re-install the stem into my 1520 but I can't get it to "lock" after screwing the small screw... last couple of times there was no problem but now after carefully placing the stem into position and try to tighthen the screw nothing happens.. when winding I hear a small "click" and then I can continue winding on. the "click" seems to be some sort of release in the movement but since I don't want to ruin my precious 1520 I hope some of the more experienced members can give me some advice? Please help me thank you..
fitch
Problem solved.. pfieuw... I turned the little screw 1/2 turn at a time and checked after every 1/2 turn if the stem was still loose and after a couple of these turns the stem kept into place, I guess I was too hasty the times before that.. SSTEEL
Glad you sorted it out. Keyless woes are a dreaded part of anyone having to remove, and refit a stem. Close shave mate.
