Adric83 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Hi folks! I'm not exactly 'new' here; I've been a lurker for a couple of years! And in 2012 I got myself a very nice PAM111 Beginner from Toro. Loved the watch, absolute classic, but sadly it was lost a while back, and I've missed it ever since! Just wanted to ask the brains trust here whether the Toro beginner PAM111s are still great, or if people have suggestions for other TDs that are reliable, good at communicating and are making particularly nice reps, I miss my PAM, and I'd love a nicely affordable, trouble free replacement! Cheers muchly folks! - Adric
markiemark Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Get a modded one from Marlin! http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/161199-my-beloved-has-arrived-marlin-111/
sputim Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 If you really like the watch and in case you were a perfectionist proceed as markiemar proposed Or hit toro up and get the pam 111 noob v3. Moreover, if you like to get a croc strap I can highly recommend toros strap aswell..awesome combo in my eyes
Adric83 Posted January 3, 2014 Author Report Posted January 3, 2014 I'd love to get a Marlin at some point, right now my post-Christmas budget won't afford it to me, so I'll probably get a Noob V3 and trade up later Thanks for the feedback fellows, it's good to be back in the hobby!

You can always send your watch later for mods Then you spread out the costs...

Linxiaoyu Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Hey, just wondering, is the pam111 movement (6497) an automatic one ?
