Jooster
Just wondering if anyone has any comment(s) on a Yachtmaster with a Valjoux movement.
Nightwatch
Hi and welcome on the forum. The basic Yachtmaster is a nice dresswatch in my opinion. If You mean the Yachtmaster II all versions I have seen come with a faux chrono so its non-working and You may choose the Asian 2813 movement anyway. If this is Your first watch look up 3 trusted dealers and their offers, than buy from any one of them. My advice would be to buy the cheaper Asian movement which normally is very reliable. Only go for the most expensive Yachtmaster after having read a lot here on the forum and have decided if it is worth it. With time You will discover the interest for other watches and You will need the funds. Good luck with Your choice.
irolexu
I personally don't like reps that do not function according to their counter watch. If its designed to run a certain way I prefer to have those abilities.
Jooster
Thanks for the advice. I do agree it is a nice dress watch, and the ss/yg looks great. The one I looked at had the crown etching at the 6 o clock position and the clasp is A grade.
