Manny007 Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Good Day Fellow Members, I have been a frequent visitor of this site for sometime now and I have always found the information on here very helpful. I genuinely thought I was one of the only people into 'Franken' projects until I stumbled across this site. I am not an expert on watches by any means and I'm still learning as I go along. I am currently seeking some advice in relation to an intended AP ROO franken project and all replies will be appreciated. I recently purchased a gen AP ROO 2226 chronograph movement and I was wondering what problems I could possibly run into trying to fit it in an AP ROO Ultimate edition? I have attached a pic of the movement below. Thanks in advance for any replies.
folex Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 You'd need a gen dial, hands and tachymeter. As for the rep, you'd just need the casing. Oh last but not least, most importantly of all. Then you need Domi GLW-hunt. You got one piece of the puzzle but ur not there yet.
Manny007 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Posted January 7, 2014 @folex I knew I would need a dial and hands. Didn't think I would have needed a genuine tachymeter. I was also a bit worried about stem and chrono pusher alignment?
