sailboat641
Was wondering if some of the PAM experts could chime in and help me. I'm sending my PAM reps from EL to be relumed (ultimate Fiddy and 177H). The only offerings in lume color is the C3 and C1. Somewhere I read that C3 lume was the OEM color. However on gens, the color seems more whitish with an ever-so-slight tinge of green. Is C3 the correct color? It would seem more C1 than C3 to me. Watchmeister
Clearly C-3 on the Fiddy and 177h. It is just the way it is shot.
flavor flav
i agree here. most gens are more white than c3. i think panerai uses a blend. i relume with about 80% white and 20% c3. looks closer to me in person.
linkukbora
Newer Pam uses C3 and neo vintage with C7 C3 gives the whitish green which conform to genuine
sailboat641
So for the fiddy and 177h, the C3 is correct. THanks for the info.
Watchmeister
Don't forget PAM "photoshops" the heck out of their pictures. If you go into a dealer and take a look at several gens it all becomes clear. I am of the opinion that they are too lazy to custom mix a color. So I stick with C-3.
