subaruski Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Recently purchase two "gen" asso straps. One from paneristi.com and the other from RWI. Can I get confirmation that these are gen. Beige strap looks great but I was a little suspect on the darker brown one. Sorry for crappy pics.
Grimlocktime Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 The 24 is gen for sure. I need some better pics of the 27. Specifically the back near the lugs. Gen straps won't have any glue exposed. It is hard to tell, but it looks like I can see some glue. Also the impressions on the gen will look more shallow than the rep. The impressions on the 27 look a little deep.

Will keep to handmade individual straps, they go for cheap compared with these pricetags. Enjoy them as they are Yours.
