both of those are really, really beautiful, but jmicro's is a touch above ;) Hard to spot, but when you know, you will be able to tell in and instant. :g:

come on J micro, more pics on your franken CP

 

it have a gen grey dial, and non of the BS grey sub dial ring,

 

morreeeee please such a beauty, since the gen dial is mate color not shiny like the rep.

OK, looking at it closer - although the angle of photo isn't the best for this,

the date wheel appears to be in line with 2 and 4 leading me to believe it's a Franken!?

 

 

EDIT: Scrolling down the page, looks like Valante commented above about it being Franken too.

That is correct. I'll take more pics when she gets back from "VAC" ation.

 

My main reasons to go Franken were (in order)

1. The thick tuna can effect of the non modified case bugged the hell out of me.  (franken is much thinner and fits under my dress shirts)

2. Reliable non shaky seconds at the 12 movement. All my frankens keep time very well and have a good power reserve. (even the reps that I had serviced by Francisco suffered some problems.)

other tells:

asymmetrical chrono pusher and stem. (not inline)

the dials have very good lume

aligned date window as Valante commented.

smooth sweep of secs@12
