The Longer hole version is a wider version that comes with big tang buckles. These small whole versions are for the deployment buckles that come with 42mm offshore models. But you can also get pin buckles for these ones here.

To my knowledge, for the Diver, there's the regular length version and the XS version. Both use the 24mm tang buckle.

The rubber strap option is also given for a lot of 42mm ROO models. These are different though, as the end tapers down to 18mm. You can use either the factory deployant or an 18mm tang buckle with the strap.

Let me know which strap you are intending to get? The Diver one (24mm buckle) or the rubber one for the ROO (18mm buckle)?

They are different and the pin to be used for the tang buckle would be different widths too..

You can get the SS buckles off ebay cheap of course, but make sure you get the right set!

I have a AP Band 18mm Tang Buckle,

genuine AP Deployant Clasp is to much

which should fit, I also carry on my HB Strap
