Hi, I fear this is a stupid question, but as I am newbie I think I have some of them free :D

when my rep fails, where can I take it for service? To any AD? Because I think they will sure notice it is a rep, will this cause problems?

(I live in germany)

Hallo Hoschi und Willkommen im Forum der "Uhrenwahnsinnigen" !

You got to search for an independent watchsmith who works on reps. Just ask if he has a problem with working on high end reps. If he says "get out of here" - keep on searching...

Walking into an AD with a rep and asking for a service is not really the best option...

I found a watchsmith in the Ruhrgebiet. He is good - but it´s not the cheapest one.

I've serviced (oil and clean) a rep (PAM) once at the local watchshop and told him before it was a rep. He was actually happy o receive it since he was loooking forward to see how it was compared to a gen :D

Wouldn't dare taking a rep into a AD, they usually are a bit brainwashed

Most of the watchsmith will only work on swiss movements... if you go to one and ask about doing a job for you let him know that your watch has an swiss movement in it if it has ;)
