eteled
Hi, In May 2013 I bought two Rolex Day date 2's from a trustworthy seller from RWG. Both has an Asia 2813 21J Automatic movement. But on one of them the minute hand does not go around the dial anymore when I try to set the time and it is not in function when the watch crown is pushed back in. WHen I rotate the watch the minute hand is very loose and falls back and forth in around the dial. I have linked a video I have taken of the watch in work to let you see the problem. Is there something I can do to fix this? Or is it just to throw the watch away?

stevedrk
This is a very simple fix. The hand just needs to be pressed back on. If you don't have a hand press tool you can easily do this with tweezers.
eteled
Glad to hear that it can be fixed! This is a very simple fix. The hand just needs to be pressed back on. If you don't have a hand press tool you can easily do this with tweezers. Could you please explain how I could do this? I have to open the back side? I think it is a screw back. stevedrk
Take off bracelet. Unscrew case back. Remove screw from rotor (optional). Remove stem. Remove tab screws and tabs (2 of each). place something flat over movement and flip watch over. The movement and dial should easily come out of the case. Remove the second hand. Press minute hand on. Press second hand back on. I make sure the hour and minute hand are lined up at 12 when you press them on. Be careful not to scratch dial. Reverse instructions to put it all back together. Any tips on how to open the back?
stevedrk
Some folks have success with a wadded up ball of duct tape. Other than that, you need the tool. Even a cheap one will work. Sent from my BLU STUDIO 5.3 II using Tapatalk
