Anyone got the idea how to restore the satin finish on the PAM dail surface?

Some part on mine has gone glossy.

How do you manage to protect numerals and inscriptions?

Do you think this would also work in making a black dial tobacco or brown?

Hi!

There is no protection needed with PAM dials. The varnish won't be visible on the numerals. Just make sure to spray thin coats.

A colour change won't work, as you would possibly spray over existing writings.

I am about to do the spray, but shall I use matt or semi-gloss coat? Which one is the best match for the PAM dial?

BTW, I have seen another issue here. Does the subdial need to be protected as it seems glossy in nature. If yes, what is the best way and how to cover it up? It is very hard to make the exact size circular masking.
