bertieng Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Anyone got the idea how to restore the satin finish on the PAM dail surface? Some part on mine has gone glossy.
bertieng Posted December 11, 2006 Author Report Posted December 11, 2006 No experts can shed in some light for me?
sssurfer Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Thanks, repaustria. How do you manage to protect numerals and inscriptions? Do you think this would also work in making a black dial tobacco or brown?
sssurfer Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Hi! There is no protection needed with PAM dials. The varnish won't be visible on the numerals. Just make sure to spray thin coats. A colour change won't work, as you would possibly spray over existing writings. Thanks!

Watchmeister Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Oliver- Could I use this spray to remove the gloss on my 188 (white dial)? And if so, what brand of spray. Thanks, Kruz

Which one is the best match for the PAM dial? BTW, I have seen another issue here. Does the subdial need to be protected as it seems glossy in nature. If yes, what is the best way and how to cover it up? It is very hard to make the exact size circular masking. Thanks.
