Hello Y'all,

I've been reading and enjoying the posts on here. I'm impressed with the knowledge and friendly camaraderie.

I'm ready to dip my toes in the rep waters by trying out the BP ROLSUB108 Subs on Trusty Time. Andrew's quick email responses give me confidence to give him a shot. And yes, I know this could start a dangerous obsession.

The three watches range from $158, $248 and $358. The movements are Asian 2813 25J, Asian 2824/3135 and Swiss 2824/3135. Andrew says the appearance, face, font and magnification are all the same--save for the movements. I'm more picky about the appearance than the movement at this time.

Several here say the Asian movements are pretty good for the price and may be the best value.

What say you?

Thanks much in advance and keep up the great work.

Cheers.

I agree that the asian 2813 is the best bang for the buck. I usually buy mine in this config and the upgrade with my own sourced swiss movement and upgraded hands at a later date. The QC is much better this way.
