patekman Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 I was wondering what the esteemed VC connosieurs on this forum think of this watch being offered by TrustyTime: http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=539 I have no clue if it's a fantasy (probably) or what, but I think it looks great! I am very close to pulling the trigger, can anybody give a good reason not to?

flavor flav Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 anything asian 21j and high end brand copy with display back is to be avoided unless you really really like it.
JJFlash Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 VC Patrimony Power Reserve Totally incorrect color scheme. Never produced in black.
patekman Posted December 9, 2006 Author Report Posted December 9, 2006 (edited) anything asian 21j and high end brand copy with display back is to be avoided unless you really really like it. I was curious, flavor flav, why is that? Is the Asian 21J movement not up to snuff? And if not, what movements are considered excellent? I only know of the Lemania and Swiss ETA and apparently, the Valjoux is to be avoided at all costs. Edited December 9, 2006 by patekman
mystix Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 instead of having a chorno, the dials are usually month, day, date
