patekman
I've noticed a lot of watches with the "faux tourbillon" exposed movement. What exactly does this movement look like? Is it akin to the 1-minute flying repeater on the real tourbillons? Could a layman feasibly tell that it was a fake tourbillon? I was hoping somebody who owns a fake tourbillon could describe what the actual movement looks like. Thanks!
Devedander
I think the cheapose are just exposed balance wheels... however for less than $1000 I think some of our dealers have real flying tourbs.
Lollipop
A real 'carousel' tourbillon (~$600 to $1000) in action: I think the cheapose are just exposed balance wheels Correct. They sell for about $100.
