watchman12345
I got a serviced asian 7750 recently and to me its great. Extremely smooth sweep and chronos reset perfectly. Keeps time to about +5 - 15s a day. Only have it a week so too early to say anything yet but I have a general question: Should I run the chrono from time to time, should I leave it running all the time, or should I never run it? Thanks
NRG
The Zigmeister has posted about this before, AFAIK / Remember he said no abnormal wear either way, it's your choice. However, I also recall something about less wear with it running.....try using the search function.....
watchman12345
I will look again, I did a search but didnt find anything. May have missed it. Does running the chrono reduce the power reserve much?
RWG Technical
Makes no difference any way...and running it does not affect the reserve, if fully wound it has to turn so many times before it unwinds, chrono on or off does not affect this...your equating reserve with power output, they are not the same. Once wound the watch will continue to run until the mainspring is unwound, it takes no more power to do this with the chrono on or off... Use the heck out of it, I have done so to one of mine for 22 months now and it's still working strong... RG
