Watch is great in all aspects except the DLC color seems to have a brown tinge to it; almost like an extremely dark bronze. I expected it to be a medium to dark grey color with some hints of deep purple depending on the light... I've tried to photograph it, but it's difficult. Has anyone had this problem?

Mapman57 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Never seen that on a modern Noob watch, but I have seen it on older DLC parts from Avitt. Bought some parts a year back in a batch (cases and crowns and CGs) and some of them were the same> I think I still have a few T48 crowns with avitt DLC that show some signs of patina or whatever it is............. Does not look good on a modern K serial like that?
perry563 Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Have you tried cleaning the watch case with dish soap and water? I own the h factory v3 and my feeling is it's case color is the best available. Everything else is just too dark....nearly black.
panermaniac Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 I had one and it was almost like a pencil lead color. It had no hint of brown whatsoever. Who did you get it from?
