Guest ntense
ok so right now, I own a 16610LV and LN. The LN is TC V6 sub. it has a gen crystal, gen click spring, gen insert and overall the case and bracelet are much better than the LV. The LV is also a TC, but its a type 3. only thing gen is the insert. What I'm considering is switching my LV movement, dial, and insert into my V6 and vice versa. So I'll be left with a V6 LV, with a gen insert, crystal, and click spring. Just wanted to know what you guys think, also if its even possible? Also, how much would the type3 16610 be worth? Thanks
droptopman
Or you could get one of his new 2014 LV's and sell your V3. Put the gen insert in it and there you go.
Guest ntense
idk if that's gonna beat the finish on my v6 lol. I really don't wanna spend more money lol
sputim
Definitely works and relatively easy to do. You won't lose much with the ln so don't worry. Tc's are sought after and if you are lucky you have an old case with better rehaut
droptopman
No doubt about that. TC's are one of the only reps to actually hold their value. I only suggested that as to save some work, but most of us like doing the work anyways, so go for it. I did order the new LV last week. Being a Seattle guy it can be my Seahawks game day watch. The green goes good with the jersey. For the most part only doing vintage these days, but I like the maxi dial and if I do not like the green I will just put a gen black insert in there. And TC's are kinda of vintage...
