Crikey - what a science this all is!

I just want to find a decent watch that I'll be sure will arrive after ordering and still be working after six months.

I joined the forum to get advice and (hopefully) hear from other's experience.

I appear to have opened up an unknown universe, but any help on the above would be extremely welcome.

My needs are fairly basic -  i wish to start with a quality steel model (Omega, possibly Rolex, or Breitling).

Budget around £300-400 I guess.

Apologies for pissing off any admin that are sure to have heard similar posts in adundance (I HAVE used the search!)
