IWC 3777 - Gen parts (Dial, crown etc)

great forum!

I am looking for gen parts for a IWC 3777. Of course, I am checking eBay etc. but I was wondering if somebody from this community can source gen parts (mainly Dial and crown but I am interested in anything regarding the 3777).

Any advice would be greatly appeaciated.

That will be a hard search! I think there are no gen IWC parts available at the moment because of hard restrictions on selling gen parts. But good luck! If you find a source and would like to share - I'm very interested!

What would you say:

1. Which IWC is then oob the best rep?

2. Which IWC would be the easiest to modify/franken( because the most available parts on market etc)

Actual best oob is the 3777 Pilot Chrono. Rumors say it's the Ingenieur Laureus, but this watch isn't in stock anymore.

 

The easiest to franken is the 5002 Big Pilot with faux PR. Many gen dials are available on eBay for $150 - $200. The full PR mod can be done yourself. Together with a gen pilot strap (expensive!) and a gen clasp (very expensive!) and a possible re-lume of the hands this watch is a super rep/franken.
