netniet Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 Yesterday I picked up my Noob Pam 127 aka Fiddy, modded by (BBB), which I had bought last week on RWI. I was browsing RWI last A week ago, and the sales thread was just only a couple of minutes online when I decided to buy it when I saw it. This was one watch I wanted to have. After some searching I found a really nice 74 Corrigia strap for it, which I hope to see at my doorstep soon to make this an amazing combo. The mods done on this watch are: - Middle case rebrushed - Bezel polished to reach a mirror finishing - The teethed external surface of the crown has polished, like the gen - The CG body rebrushed, the edges chamfered and polished. - The CG pin polished, the top edge slightly softened, slightly recessed - Flattened and polished Cannon Pinion, flushed with the hands - Polished bevels on Ratchet and Crown wheels, the brushed side a bit lightened - All bridges were slightly lightened, the "soleil" finish is more evident and brilliant - Thicker gaskets on caseback and crown, both gaskets greased with silicon grease - All jewels and wheels oiled, the mov runs smoothly. Good time. - Waterproof test @ 6 atm And now some pics. (Taken from the sales thread)
fishgodeep Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 Very nice - an all time classic and beautiful attention to details - Enjoy ! FGD
paristoto Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 Very nice. I'm expecting my 127 to be back from Chef with similar mods. Still looking for a strap. I'll wait and see the combo on your wrist before pulling the trigger.
JMC Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Woooahh..very nice!!!, alhough not cheap, I gues. Enjoy it! Much better than new ZF release. I'm looking forward to see if KW release 127 too. Edited May 25, 2015 by JMC
netniet Posted May 25, 2015 Author Report Posted May 25, 2015 Corrigia strap landed mate? Wear it well Thx, the strap has landed, and it looks (and wears) amazing.
Bozz Posted May 27, 2015 Report Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Excellent mate! Now a rare bird . Make attention, the crownguard is screwed upside down, on the contrary. The right side is with the lever tail @ 6 and REG. T.M. on the top. Edited May 27, 2015 by Bozz
