Hello everyone!

I have been offered this Omega Speedmaster Mark IV, which i think is from the '70s.

I dont know much about this watches. I think it was a daily beater, It has had better days.

My questions are;

1. is it genuine?

2. What would you say is the value on it? to make a fair offer, Considering is in rough condition.

Thanks

It's genuine. Ironically these fetch less than the more common Mk II, even though the Lemania based movement is an excellent auto chrono. In this condition I would not like to pay more than £500 - £550 GBP. A full rebuild by Omega would be costly (probably another £550) but would leave it like new.

Price dependant, I would definitely buy it and restore it. I remember not that long ago buying a Flightmaster 910 instead of a bullhead, the bullheads are now silly money and very collectible.
