I have a few Asian automatic Pam's. Bought them only because I could not get the same model with ETA movement, (which is always preferable in my opinion). To my delight they have been reliable including the power reserve models. I recommend them as resonable investments, probably not as durable at the ETA but still good none the less.

My $108 Joshua 090 Power Reserve is a very satisfying acquisition, beautiful case finish, crisp dial, runs perfectly, what's not to like?

Same for my 164, always from Joshua, more or less same $.

It is a beautiful watch and without problems.

I'm currently wearing a $108 Panerai 203 from Joshua. It's not got AR or the Tobacco dial, but the movement is reliable and the sub-dial spacing is virtually identical to the genuine one. I like it so much, I put it on a strap that cost twice the price of the watch!

I have to agree with RT. The Member trading forum has some fantastic values. But even new Pams can be had for good prices. I just received a very nice GMT with an ETA movement from Eddie Lee, whom I don't normally consider a low-priced dealer, for under $200. How can you beat that?

Gosh! Another great thread for those strapped for cash.

Thanks for the recommendations. I don't know whether to laugh at all the possibilities or cry at the thought of my bank balance. :(
