Can you tell which is rep and which is gen?

I just got my "closed factory" Seamaster Pro (thanks, Jeff!), and I must say-- I am extremely impressed. I will post a more in-depth comparison between the rep and gen Seamaster Pro soon, but I thought I'd share these with you.

I fixed the misaligned bezel on the replica and gave the case & bracelet a bit of shine with some Brasso: Those are the only mods. This thing is scary. I can already tell my gen Seamaster Chrono will be getting less wrist time :)

And here's a quick and dirty of my collection minus my gen Breitling Headwind which is currently being fixed and my gen Speedmaster Pro which was on the wrist. One of the Seamaster Bonds is my father's gen, the other is my rep, and the chronograph is genuine.

Gen is on the right. Give aways for me were:

Pearl

Date window (gen is rectangular, while the rep is more square)

Thickness of dial minute markers

Caseback (gen is more flat, while rep is more domed)

Otherwise, its a pretty good rep!

I looked at the valve at the 10 marker. Slightly off center on the right.
