Maybe it is real? What is the problem? I don't think every watch sold on Ebay is a fake but there might be a lot.

i own the same watch. the datewheel font is off, the crown looks dodgy, and the lug screws are too coutnersunk to be genuine. definately fake.

Ouch. Some poor fool paid over 4K for that watch. No box and papers! That should be a dead giveaway. This is grand theft as far as I'm concerned. Paying too much when you know it's a rep is one thing; paying for a rep as genuine is a crime. Last time I spotted one of these I e-mailed the buyer before the bidding ended. He ignored me, the moron! (it's possible, however, he was a shill.)

i've tried messaging sellers and buyers - usually ismore trouble than its worth.

The old standby is to register a quick dummy ebay acct and bid a rediculous amount. Then when the guy asks you to pay, you tell him that he has a fake and your going to report him to ebay
