GMTII Bezel Size Question

Hi there fellow RWG'rs

I purchased a new ceramic bezel for my GMT2 and it is just too bloody BIG  , not by much and few gnats hairs , so i was wondering what the size should be as the guy reckons its 39.8?

Any help would be appreciated 

The ad stated this , so I thought it would be ok

I have a gen GMTII insert in front of me. It's a tad over 38.0mm
