as the seller says, it appears to be a legit case (although the pics are crappy and missing a side profile shot), but its odd that the serial numbers were redone, yet the reference engravings look original.  Most likely a watch that was stolen at some point and time.

I was looking at this case but the 5 in 5512 is not correct in my opinion. 

No marks from the bracelet on either side or the lugs,  excessive metal on the tube side, etc...
