OmegaRules Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 I was tempted to pull the plug on this older 16613 but wasn't quite sure it was gen. Rolex symbol under a loop looked faded and Lume pearl was beginning to turn black in middle perhaps due to age and use of tritium. Experts - what do you think? Watch 16613 T>25 next to a newer 16613 that is suppose to be gen as well.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
QueTip Posted September 25, 2016 Report Posted September 25, 2016 looks good to me, correct bezel, correct dial, strap has hollow links, gen spring bars all looks right, easy way to tell is by adjusting the hands nearly all reps go the wrong way to a genuine rolex, apart from yukis Nope. Dial is 100% not genuine. I'd like to doubt the full thing and say it's a build or a refinished gen. But sure as hell not fully gen.
OmegaRules Posted September 25, 2016 Author Report Posted September 25, 2016 Tell me more please. This watch is being offered at $5950 from a dealer and as I shared in photo he also has a newer version but wants $7500 for it. I was near tempted to offer on the older model but he did not feel comfortable in letting me open back and see movement. Would have loved to have taken a pic of it.Here is a high resolution of the dial as it may make it easier to judge.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Case looks more sloppy polished too if gen. I'd need more and better all around pics of it to determine. Gens for reference (of varying age): 3
OmegaRules Posted September 26, 2016 Author Report Posted September 26, 2016 Thank you QueTip for the additional response and referencing gen pics you provided. I see what you are referring to. Glad I didn't buy in and pick that watch up but someone will and it will cost them big time.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe try and tell the seller, he might've done it unknowingly and thinks it's all gen himself.
irolexu Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 It's most likely a converted dial.. that's a 4500.00 dollar watch.
