William Campbell
Can anyone tell me whether or not this Sea Dweller has Glidelock? http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_8&products_id=12226 Also, is this 28800 BPM? I tried writing the TDs but did not get an answer. Thanks.
highoeyazmuhudee
the link you sent shows it has an asian 2813 movement, thats the slower 21.6K bpm one. the link says it has the new bracelet style clasp. from what i can see in the pictures its very likely and would say yes. if you want the faster beat 28.8bpm movement you'll have to find the same model with the "asian 2836" it's usually listed above or below the slower beat one, but will add $50-$100 on the price.
richard591
I have two SD Deepsea's and both have the full glidelock with the lift up centre section for adjustment on the wrist. I'm fairly sure if it's got the new style divers extension it should have. I think I'm correct in saying that it's a standard fitment on the genuine, so if it's a genuine copy it should be the same. If you also check on "Intimes" website (a TD) they may have the same, but with better pics of the bracelet with more detail. With the ones I bought, you could see quite clearly that the centre section lifts up. I have no experience with the 2813 movement as all 3 of my reps have the 2836. However, if it's any use, I can tell you that all mine have responded to re-regulation way beyond what I expected. In fact, the Noob V6s DSSD is currently keeping pace with my Gen Submariner. Nevertheless, if you read the posts on this site made by those who have a lot of experience, I think I've been lucky and haven't had to have any serviced yet.
