A Portuguese secs@6 that's reliable?

Hi all

 

Trusty time have just released a Portuguese with secs@6 which claims to be "More reliable than the Asia 7750 movement with secs at 6:00"

The way I'd understood the problem with the earlier models is that the factories didn't trouble to insert an extra gear for the secs mechanism and they'd have to fundamentally rebuild the 7750 to not have issues with a secs@6 feature.

 

This new model uses a clone A79350 movement that says it's the same thickness as the gen.

 

Just wondering what y'all think about the likely reliability?

I believe the problems with the earlier ones were down to no jewels in the sec@6 workings. 

 

This is very interesting though, shame nobody seems to know a thing about it, would I be right in assuming no working chrono on it?

there are some gen 79350 movements on Ebay.... should fit the rep perfectly
