naturopath
I have a 100% gen except for the case 1680, and the case is GREAT, however, once a Rolex guru (The 3rd who opened the case) saw the inside of the case, they said it was "too perfect" and that the tolerances around the movement were too tight, or that the case was too "thick". It is a Vietnam case. Who here knows of or can take this case and make it as perfect as possible inside, with some proper "aging" on the outside? slay
It's going to be hard to replicate the inside, gen cases were stamped & then hand-turned back in the days. I'm pretty sure most of not all cases you find today are CNC'ed. CNC will naturally look more perfect than a hand-turned case.
