Vintage Rolex Movement For Vintage Pam Project

Has anyone worked on this movement? It's cal 540. I wanna know if molniya hands would work on it or not.... the movement diameter is bigger than molniya, i think.

I am not sure but I think that mvmt has 41mm diameter.

To fit it inside a 47mm case you will have some work ahead... on the inside of the case.

as for the hands they will have to be worked to fit the canon pinion and barrel. At least I had to have it done on a cal. 616 cortebért.

I would not worry about the hands as that movt will not fit in a panerai case - with out a butt load of case work.

You do know that the 540 does not work right? Feel free to spend your money on one - it makes a nice rolex pocket watch.
