robideaux Posted April 1, 2006 Report Share Posted April 1, 2006 anyone know if it would be possible to take the nicely finished winding gears from the swiss 6497-1 movt and place them on the CN 6497-2 copy? and how about transplanting the swan neck? my idea is to combine the best cosmetic parts from the swiss movt and adding them to the high beat, smooth winding CN copy movt. perhaps some of our more horologically enlightened members might know if such a swap is possible.
