maxmsu Posted January 23, 2007 Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 I am talking about the CDG CN6497 without swan neck regulator... Chinese version of the Swiss 6497 came with cheaper Pams... I was swapping cases last night (TI to PVD) and everything went well... last step, I was winding the crown, suddently it clicked and lost the grip, turned all the way back by itself... the minute hand spins like crazy, looks like a little fan ... running for 5 seconds. then DIED, I tried to take everything apart, nothing is working... paperweight again... My previouse 2 broke because of the hairspring issue (see The Zigmeister's post)... Now I am afraid of wind other pams afraid of the samething might happen again...
