bluespower Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 I bought a 2006 SS Daytona 7750 (secs at 6) back in September from one of our most trusted dealers. (Pic below) Wore it probably a dozen or so times and now it's dead. I emailed the dealer twice asking what, if anything, he could do to help and got no response, which kind of upsets me because I've probably spent a few grand on watches from this guy over the past couple years. This also is one my favorite pieces, so I really want to be able to wear it. As this is the first time I've had trouble with a watch dying on me, what should I expect, if anything from the dealer? If the consensus is I can expect nothing, who would you guys recommend to fix it? You can PM your recommendations on a repair person if you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Thanks in advance for any guidance or recommendations.
RWG Technical Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 The permanent fix would be to remove the running seconds at 6 gears, freeze the subdial, and it should run fine... RG
