Lyndonville Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I'm fairly new to this group, but, age is on my side when it come to other things. I thought I'd post something that I hope you all will enjoy. I'm an amateur radio op (K4TJP) and one man who is part of our community makes clocks and watches. He does it for himself, and nothing he makes these days is for sale, nor, can he be commissioned to make something. His name is WR Smith and he lives in Powell, Tennessee (USA), just north of Knoxville, TN. What WR does will soon be a lost art. Read his Bio if you're inclined. It's very interesting. I hope you enjoy this. http://www.wrsmithclocks.com/index.htm
JJFlash Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Amazing story - what a unique craftsman. The clocks he made are truly works of art. Enjoyed reading about the man, especially the bio.
