Bigdoggy Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Recently (about five weeks ago) I had a Gen Crown and Tube installed on my MBW 1680. Prior to the installation, the watch consistently gained 10 seconds per day. After the crown and tube installation, its behavior has become a little strange: Day 1 - set the watch with the atomic clock Day 2 - 10 second gain Day 3 - another 10 second gain (now 20 seconds fast) Day 4 - 5 second loss (now 15 seconds fast) Day 5 - 10 second loss (now 5 seconds fast) Day 6 - 15 second loss (now 10 seconds slow) Hacking the watch will repeat this pattern exactly - almost to the second. I realize that a 10 second variance over 6 days is extraordinary, especially for a rep movement. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this, or , If anyone might be able to explain the pattern.
Bigdoggy Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 Nanuq: Went to a coed gym last night. Worked out for 15 minutes - watched the women work out for 2 hours - the MBW gained 62 seconds. I'll never have to set it again as long as I workout there once each week. Thanks Nanuq!!!!!!!
