TeeJay
I was just wondering the best ways to go about vintaging lumes on watch hands. I accidentally vinataged the lumes on my 2531.80 by leaving it under a daylight lamp for two hours. Lumes that were perfectly white, went as yellow as those on a vintage submariner. However. The lumes on the hands were untouched. I need to get new hands for the watch anyway, so was planning on vintaging them to match the lumes on the dial. Can anyone suggest the best method for achieving this yellowy color, or would baking them under the same daylight lamp work (as it didn't do anything with the existing hands)
HighDef
You can paint them to match the markers, but I have not seen a 2531 with yellow markers
