177 vs 177H vs Swan Neck

I am a Noobie.

I have an authentic Explorer II and Seamaster, but am new to Reps and Pams in particular. I am about to order a 177 from Josh, but have a few questions.

Is this a good choice for my first PAM?

What is the difference in the regular H model. I know it is related to the case back, but not sure the difference.

Should I get the Swan Neck model?

Why is the Swan Neck H significantly less expensive that the non H Swan Neck when both are Swiss 6497?

Thanks in advance

if its older version like G it wont have a gorgous sandwich dial, we all love so much on our pams, but still will be good, also the movement decorations would be different, as engraved instead of cote de geneve waves. No further major differences for me then :)

Swan neck is more just to be, and able to be spotted, than to do anything at all :) Its just a gadget that makes rep closer to the gen, although we all know that the neck needle is way thiner on rep than on gen :)

Anyway remember its titanium pam, so its a bit lighter than those heavy steel pams. Most of pams are steel cased, so you might not feel the actuall weight of pam :p

But after all, I advice you to get 177h with swan neck, as its the closest around for now

cheers,

Kuba

I have the 176h from Joshua. It's the same watch minus the second hand wheel. I love it. It's my daily watch. I first started out not liking them. Now it's all I want to wear. Go figure. You also might want to check out Davidsen's watches. They're a bit more expensive but you get a couple nice little extras with it.
