Usil
I got tired of it on one of my watches and just glued the rotor in place and then just wind it when it needs it. (Well, I really did this but it was because the rotor fell off) Usil
manuel
First time I hear about modding the rotor. You can however replace rep movement and put genuine swiss made 38 jewels eta 2836. that should be ok.
poopypants
This guy has the most IDIOTIC threads on here! and as for you comment: Well in this particular case i compared my perfectly modded 16610 rep to a 16610 gen with 31XX movement. They look almost the same (small flaws can only be identified by a magnifying glass), but the rotor sound immediately exposes it as the rep, as you can hear the rotor winding ... the 31XX Rotor is absolutely silent. Dude, there is NO WAY that your "perfectly modded" 16610 reps look or even feels like gen 16610! no magnifying glass needed!!! PP
Falco
well if this sound really bugs someone, a 2893-2 movement is very silent winding and rotating compared to the 2836. Most of these 2893-2 movements are sold without the GMT wheel anyway on ebay.
