PAM regulator arm

One of the things that has bugged me the most about the movement on most panerai reps that I've seen is the shape of the regulator arm. It doesn't help much to have a swan neck if the shape of the regulator arm next to it looks completely different from the gen. It makes it unbelievably easy to spot a rep with a glance at the movement. Here's a comparison if you don't know what I mean...

I'm not sure if anyone has already thought of this, but my idea was to create some sort of sticker that could be placed over the arm to come closer to matching the shape.

I spent around 5 minutes with some aluminum foil and a razor blade and came up with the following... This is by no means permanent, but just a test to see what it would look like.

I'm hoping someone out there might be able to run with this and possibly find a better material or method. Let me know what you think... (Also, I know the "A" is messed up in PANERAI, it came like that. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix it?)

I'm not sure I would bother fixing the "A" since the lettering is not even close to the gen anyhow... But then I guess I can see why it bugs you. You might try a lacquer stick.

Skipping the "A", I'd probably do more harm than good, and 75% of it is covered by the caseback. Good ideas to keep in mind though
